Restaurant 2.0 /

Interesting , inspiring day ... Yesterday I was with my friends at lunch in the famous Belgrade restaurant Diagonal 2.0,  a new version of the old restaurant Zaplet.

Zanimljiv, inspirativan dan… Juče sam bila sa prijateljicama na ručku u poznatom beogradskom restoranu Dijagonala 2.0, sada već stara nova verzija restorana Zaplet.

Created to forget in which country we are ( in our case , it is easy to forget time zone and when it's time to go home ) ... Space : Absolutelly fabilous , trendy . Comfortable? Not really ... It depends on how quick you are to occupy upholstered seats ... But , as I said at the beginning , certainly interesting and inspiring. The restaurant moved into the former mansion of sculptor Djordje Jovanovic on whose façade there are two sculptures to remind us , or at least make us wonder ...

Kreiran tako da zaboravimo u kojoj se državi nalazimo (a u našem slučaju, lako se zaboravlja i u kom smo vremenu i kada je vreme da se krene kući)... Prostor: Absolutelly fabilous, trendi. Udobno? Ne baš... Zavisi koliko ste brzi da zauzmete tapacirano sedište... Ali, kao što rekoh na početku, svakako zanimljivo i inspirativno. Restoran se uselio u nekadašnju vilu vajara Đorđa Jovanovića na čijoj fasadi se nalaze dve skulpture da nas podsete ili bar da se zapitamo...

The interior is reduced , with a great set concept , is also a restaurant and bar , culinary hangout and social meeting point . Minimalist approach , but with an emphasis on art , which is supported by various installations in the area . In fact , I could talk about all technical aspects of interior design , seating arrangements , lighting and etc... For example, the spectacular chandelier ...

Enterijer  sveden, sa odlično postavljenim konceptom, ujedno je i restoran i bar, gastronomsko svratište i "social meeting point". Minimalistički pristup, ali sa akcentom na umetnost, čemu u prilog govore različite instalacije u prostoru.  Zapravo, mogla bih da govorim o svim stručnim aspektima uređenja enterijera, rasporedu sedenja, rasveti i čemu sve ne... Na primer o efektom lusteru...

There would be both praise and objections , hmmm ... as always, but I have to point out what makes this restaurant stand out from the rest, and that is the idea of ​​total design that is soooo little applied in our society . Okay . Someone may like it, someone does not , but few are those who know how to implement it . And there are few indifferent . I think that is the main feature of this place . About food I don't want to speak . For me, it's always been important company , the atmosphere and ambiance .

Bilo bi tu i pohvala i zamerki, hmmm... kao i uvek, ali moram da istaknem ono po čemu se ovaj restoran ističe od ostalih, a to je ideja Total dizajna koja je taaakooo malo primenjivana u našem društvu. Ok. Nekome može da se dopada, nekom ne, ali malo je onih koji umeju da je sprovedu. I malo je ravnodušnih. Mislim da je to glavna karakteristika ovog mesta. O hrani ne bih da govorim. Uvek mi je bilo bitnije društvo, atmosfera i ambijent.

U to ime...

Personally , I'm not a fan of this type of restaurant . I'm just not that type ... But the change go down well ... This is something that Belgrade lacked: variety, playfulness and choice . Way out from the everyday life . And really , really is totally cool ...

Lično, nisam ljubitelj ovog tipa restorana. Prosto nisam taj tip...  Ali, promena prija... Ovo je nešto što je Beogradu nedostajalo, raznolikost, razigranost i mogućnost izbora. Izlazak iz svakodnevnice. I zaista, zaista je potpuno Cool...
